Texas Rural Student Transportation is a contract school bus company that provides transportation services to school districts, which includes all the fleet processes and maintenance. Our job is to get students where they need to go safely, on time, and in compliance with school transportation requirements.

ROUTES AND TRIPS
Our transportation services are designed to meet the unique needs of each student with or without disabilities, and we work closely with school districts to ensure that all students receive the support they need.
Home to School
Mid-day/Late
A school bus transportation company provides safe, reliable, and scheduled transportation for students to and from school, regular and special needs transportation.
Mid-day from campus to campus, late runs, 21st Century/ACE and enrichment programs
Extra-Curricular
Athletic events, UIL, competitions, field trips and other school activities.
OPERATIONS
We will operate all aspects of the transportation department, managing the day-to-day activities of the department.
TxRST will always keeping the district up to date with any information needed.
Route Planning
Creating efficient home-to-school routes, assigning buses and drivers, and adjusting schedules, create turn-by-turns and bus seating charts, notify guardians of the route times.
Student Management
We will partner with the district to see what best fit plan of action for student management on the bus.
Dispatching
TxRST will handle the hiring a dispatcher for the transportation department, so that during route time there is communication between parents, the schools and the drivers.
Trip Scheduling
Organize and find drivers for all extra-curricular activities and plan the trip routes.
COMPLIANCE
A school bus transportation company is responsible for moving students safely and efficiently to school, while ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintaining a well‑equipped fleet, and coordinating closely with the district.
Fleet Maintenance
We also provide fleet management and maintenance services to school districts. Keeping up with preventative maintenance, repairs, fueling and cleaning. Our team of experts can help school districts manage their fleets more efficiently and save money on maintenance costs.
DOT Training
Recruiting qualified school bus drivers, conducting required training, and monitoring driver qualifications. We also offer continued training for current drivers and also can train new drivers with our ELDT program.
DOT Compliance
Managing driver records, vehicle inspections, drug/alcohol testing requirements, safety procedures, and applicable federal/state requirements.TxRST will take care of the annual DOT compliance screenings and reports for each driver.
Safety Training
Training is essential to having a safe program. We will hold all required safety trainings and meetings for drivers and monitors.
Fleet Compliance
We will take care of the FMCSA and DOT requirements such as regular inspections, paperwork, insurance for the fleet.
State Reporting
We will assist the district with the state Sped, Ace program and all other transportation reported needed.

Our management team has a combined 75 plus years’ experience in the student transportation industry. Your I.S.D. Drivers and staff will receive the best training there is to offer, plus a competitive wage which ensures stability and longevity in your district. We will purchase all supplies from local vendors when available at a competitive price.
The operations and management team all live in Texas. We have no answering service, so you always are able talk to one of us personally when you need anything.
